    Default Anyone have a anti theft wheel bolt socket?

    Hi folks as the above i need a lend or ill buy an anti theft wheel bolt socket for
    a Bmw 5 series needed ASAP anyone from around Wexford town or the duncannon
    line that could give me a lend of one tomorrow i just need it to
    take the wheels off my 5 series to put on my 325i but i dont have the socket any
    help appreciated thanks for looking.

    just knock a socket on to the stud with a persuader if your stuck and put standard stud in

    ask ur local tyre fitter if ur pally wit em, i had the same prob an they loaned the set for half hour 4 me to take em off an dropped em back. just an idea if u dont get sorted.

    Sound lads think i have it sorted im going to knock something up tomorrow to fit into it if all else fails ill weld a nut onto the end of the wheel bolt and crack it off!!

    Most of them have a safety nut on the outside that is machined down and when you put a socket on it it just breaks off anytime i have done these i had to drill them off fucker of a job ya need some good cobalt bits.
