    Default 180sx battery relocation

    ok lads have to reloacate my battery in drift car, mounting it in the boot.
    i have already purchased a battery box to hold it..

    whats the best way to reconnect it??

    can i just connect the new battery cable to the existing positive terminal in the engine bay??

    where in the boot will give me a sufficent earth??

    where can i get te correct gauge cable??

    and lastly which is the easiest way to run the battery cable?? i.e run it under the car, or run it alone the drivers side kick panel and along the floor at the door etc???

    thanks lads just trying to do jobs myself as its only way ill learn

    as for the earth i'd bring it from a shock bolt

    as for cable i'm goin to use welding cable myself

    i'm goin to run the cable inside

    and as for connecting the possitive i would like to hear views on that myself

    you can just reconnect it to the terminals
    earth it off the shock tower
    any good agri factors will have it or motor factors
    run the cable along the tunnel on passo side as usually on drivers dide hydro and shit is often in way.....

    run it along tranny tunnel ??

    i was thinkin bout along where the loom for rear lights and booth latch cable etc goes

    have u got a kill switch? if not u may put one in da same time ur doin da cables for the relocation, main lead will go from positive pole on the battery to a pole on the kill switch then another cable of same size from the other side of the kill switch to the starter and u can rid of the old cable goin to the battery in the engine bay.

    ye have kill switch there waiting to go in...

    is fitting the kill switch that straight forward... and the starter, is that where the existing factory positive wire goes to from the battery ye??

    not totally that easy for the kill switch, im guessin uve a fia approved kill switch so itll hav a piece at the back with 4 smaller poles, use google and u should be able ta find a guide for what connects to them on ur car no problem, yes the existing positive cables should be going straight to the starter, if its long enough u could crimp an eye piece on the end and run it to one side of the kill switch

    ye its an fia approved switch, man think ill leave that bit to my auto electrician
