Hey lads, ive always said to myself id would do a build thread but kept putting it off, ive had this car since mid 08, an ive a few pics to upload to get this up to date..... ill prob do this over time during the winter evenings comments an advice/tips always welcomed

I bought it pretty bog standard an imported it from japan






Pretty much just fitted a roll cage, welded the diff, intercooler,bucket seat an managed to get a round or two in before the year was out



That pretty much was 08
for 09 done a few bolt on mods, fuel pump and adjustable reg and actuator, stainless steel manifold and sprayed the car midnight purple and bought some rota grid alloys
Went across the pond to wales an got my semi pro bdc license



had a great year







finished 9th in the championship which i was pretty happy with considering i missed 2 rounds

sooooo thats the boring stuff outta the way...........

2010 i took the year out to do a complete engine rebuild.......





and cleaned the shit off the engine before i took it apart

Got a nice delivery from Japan!!! i was like a child at christmas when i seen this parcel!!



in the meantime i was in the uk and had a full bottom end (including clutch and flywheel) balancing carried out by these guys "vibration free" had it done there and then while i waited, sound lads to deal with

RHD japan, sound guys to deal with, only ting is i got raped on the custom charges

went standard 86mm bore, as the engine was perfect so didnt bore it out bigger , i just wants it to be bullet proof/safe

few bits i had gathered up over time for the build



among those bits i got a new timing chain tensioner and guides, didn't really need them but i got abit fussy when i was gone this far with the engine build



the guides are slightly different to the old ones so had to order the bolts for it too and the hole are couple of mm in the difference
