Thread: Valve problem

  1. #1

    Default Valve problem

I have Rays Nismo wheels on the 180sx , and one wheel is constantly going flat on me .
I have found the problem to be the valve .
Trouble is its one the below type of valve , and my local tyre lad hasnt a clue where to find a replacement.

I tried to seal it with epoxy , but it still leaked through , im tempted to use liquid metal but i'll hold off on that until i run out of options.

SO any ideas where i might be able to get a replacement valve for the wheel

Try dirko rtv silicone, it's thicker than normal silicone and more flexible than epoxy, had the same problem before with them valves, I drilled the hole bigger smoothed the edge and fit normal valves. try jeep alloys or truck wheels they have them valves.
