Default My 14a - Decent spec!

    Hey everyone,

I have the 14a since June. Lately I've been thinking that I might want to change. I don't have anything specific that I am looking for, just want to see what is out there....

Over the last 4 months I've put over €4,000 in performance parts onto her, that is on top of what was already installed.

I was in an accident recently on the motorway which caused some damage (cosmetic). Being honest the car could have done with a respray a long time ago, what it needs to get it perfect is a bonnet, a bumper and a respray as paint is fading/laquer is peeling.

Car is an original Irish 14a, blood red.

    Spec list is below;

    ENGINE
    Greddy T518z turbo W/adjustable Actuator
    NISTune ECU
    Nismo 555cc Injectors
    Z32 AFM
    JapSpeed 4 Branch manifold
    3" Straight through Japspeed turboback
    Lightweight Driftculture Flywheel
Stage 3 - 6 puck ACT paddle clutch
    Apexi Induction kit
    Stainless suction pipe
    Front Mounted Intercooler
Greddy Profec B Spec 2 boost controller
    Cusco catch tank
    Mocal 19row oil cooler
    Walbro fuel pump
Apexi turbo timer / AF gauge
    Varley red top race battery
    Alloy bigger rad
    Z32 Fuel filter

    SUSPENSION/HANDLING
KTS Fully Adjustable Coilovers - Not installed, it's on KYB shocks with Apexi springs at the minute
    Wilwood 345mm Big Brake kit
    Yellowstuff pads
    Whiteline camber adjustable bolts
    apex rear camber arms
    enki rps-o2j 17x8f817x9
    Bridgestone Potenzas all round
    15mm spacers on front
    KAZZ 2way LSD
front and back upper strut braces
    More (I can't remember)

    EXTERIOR
Completely Standard - Cosmetically she is fairly rough, unfortunately.

    SECURITY
A full, top of the range Clifford alarm system with remote start function.

*I know there is more that I have forgotten but I think that covers all the big upgrades at least.

I just got the car back from mapping very recently. It's unbelievable to drive. I decided to keep the map very safe as it is my daily driver and I'm not overly concerned about chasing HP/ftlb figures.. I got it mapped @ 1.2bar with a T518z so there is plenty of room for upping the boost.

As it stands the power delivery is very linear, I'd say it wouldn't have much more then 300hp but it just feels perfect in how it's put down. If required, the boost could go up another .2/3 bar and then things would be completely different but like I said, I'm not to pushed as it gets me to/from work everyday and it has MORE then enough power for the odd B/C road run

This is the build thread since I have owned her http://octane.ie/forum/showthread.php?t=51575 - I have documented everything throughout ownership in that thread so any questions have most likely already been answered.

Like I have mentioned, cosmetically she is not in great condition - There is no rust or anything like that but it will require paint & bodywork to get the body condition up to the standard of the engines condition.. Pics always seem to look better then she does in person so please don't go by them.

If anyone is interested please comment/pm with what you have and I'll let you know if I am interested. I am already speaking to someone about a possible swap with a GTS-T so that could still come through.

I am in no way certain that I want to get rid of her, I LOVE driving the car. It literally makes me happy every time I sit inside.... The ONLY reason I am even considering swapping is due to the body/paintwork. I can't stomach spending money on sorting appearance when there is so much that can be bought for performance. I know that sounds bad but I'd much prefer an immaculite body and then work on the engine rather then the other way around (ie what I've done with this car).

*I've a very funny feeling that I am going to regret putting this thread up so apologies if you are interested and I decide against it.
