Can anyone help out/advise on this...

Going by the last few comments I'm now looking for a replacement sprocket.. ill also happily pay someone to do the job (any suggestions?) as i can't find a how to guide anywhere... I'd usually have no problem trying something first but i don't have a clue where to even start with this...

    Thanks.

my n/a s15 rattels, but only sometimes, if i drive it, turn it off, and start again it rattles mad,
i put foot on clutch and in gear, still rattels, i reversed it back revving it up a bit and it stopped,

from reading old threads is it the vvt thing i need to replace to shut it up?

my one went in my last engine and i rang dealer. wanted something like 900 euro for it. nearly hit the floor!!! so got onto mike deane and he had hks spockets in stock which are adjustable. got it off him handy money at the time which i think was around 80 euro or around that. fitted it and never looked back.u do lose abit of low down pull but i didnt notice it realy. grand job because u never have to worry again about rattle.from wat i remember u set it up to about 4de btdc.mark bottom end (crank pully at no1 tdc) losing nut holding on vvti pully. have ur timing lined of corse! slackin tensor. remove vvti pully fit new adjustable pully which is marked where u set to around 4de.refit tensor and ur sorted.

no that plan might be alittle rough now but its been so long since i done it. im sure someone could prob tidy up my instructions abit
