    Question body rivets make a difference?

    found this while watching far to much youtube, has anyone done this to their car ,does it make a difference ie.more rigid?
    im geussing its instead of seam welding.

    im with you there ha ha ha ,ive leather seats tho and i hate them..too hot or too cold theres no happy medium with leather seats.
    im geussing if land rover can make a jeep all pop riveted together we can do it ha ha

    Some Ferraris are built from the factory like this, it's meant to be better than welding because you get less metal fatigue than welding the panels together same reason all airplanes are riveted together.

    Ueo Katsuhiro had this done to his AE86 and he found after a year or so the car didn't feel good any more, he said it was because they were after coming lose.

    I have this done to my 180.
    Along the lip that was shown at the end of the video/ top of sill..

    Can't really compare it to one that hasn't got it done.. But the jap who did it must have bought drift tengoku that week lol

    ya i turn into martial artist after a few chuck norris videos ha ha ,is your car only done anywhere else? might do mine its a cheap mod i geuss

    looks rubbish to me with the amount he put in it. also his rivet gun is a pain in the ass to use the scissor style with big handle are much easier to use i think....or an air one better still.
