    There are 2 options.

The ecss self shut off circuit on the car is not working and the power fc cant commit the map to the memory.

The power fc has had reverse battery polarity and the memory has been damaged.

Your tuner should know how to do it. If not may be they lack the vehicle and ecu experience needed to get the best results.

We have put in a brand new ecss relay made no difference and put in a brand new power fc and made no difference. There was an alarm in this car before and i took it out cause it was drainin battery and it was just a rats nest of wires anyway i'm wondering the crowd that fitted it do anything.

    Pot, kettle, black??????

Id say they wired it direct to an ignition switch
If the power to ECCS and coils are taken from the Ignition the pfc wont have time to save your changes, so it will be stuck in a read only mode and won't store your changes or "commit......."

Replacing the relay isnt even half the battle. Gtrs have 3? 12v+ supply/back up sources pin no 43, 45 and 58?
your alarm removal could have messed up a supply, check the pins above first, had it happen on an s14a before simple enough fix

    Where's it based?

    Same thing happened my r32.
1 power wire was not going through a relay ,so wasn't giving the delay necessary to save changes.

When you turn the key off ,you should hear the relay click after a second or 2.
