Default Keeping batteries in good condition

For all the people who have track cars .
How are ye keeping your batteries topped up in the track cars.
Are ye using any battery lock out devices . simply disconnecting the batteries , or removing them and keeping them on a trickle charger.Or are people just letting the batteries run flat , and them jump start them as required

I'm thinking about getting something like one of these ,

BATTERY DISCONNECT SWITCH see ebay item 350291214494 - YouTube

Get a solar powered trickle charger, they'll keep a charged battery fresh.
