    Default rb25 or sr20???

    im thinkin of putting a rb25 into my car but the prob is if i go with that conversion it will be a bog standard 25. would an rb be better than an sr?? wats the pro's and con's of the two? weight? reliability?

    iv seen alot of people dropping the RB25 for a SR20.
    SR20 revs higher and is alot lighter than the RB.
    if doing an RB swap id go for a RB26. more power and can handle alot more stress

    yea but im broke so thats why its a toss up between a tuned sr over a standard rb

    Spend the money on the sr, theres alot you can do to an sr with the money it would cost to do the rb swap

    Keep the SR20, and spend a few quid fitting an RB25 gearbox. Best of both worlds, then tear the hole out of it

    How in gods name would that be a toss up........... lazy ass heavy 6cyl lump insted of a 16v rev monster.
