    Hi Lad, In my opinion Welded is the only answer for Drifting, I've, had a welded diff for 2 years now in drift car, but def 2-way for the road, welded is dangerous on the road

    if a diff has been welded up properly with good hard facing wire and left to cool as slowly as possible, buried in a bucket of sand (atleast 24 hours) you'll break everything between the bonnet and the boot before you burst that diff.

    its preference really..the only true way to find out is weld up an old diff stick it in and see what you think...

    welded only way to go i removed a 2 way to fit a welded
    diff there is allways the chance a lsd might open on you mid
    transition and leave you on your lid as ive experienced first hand

    the slower the diff cools the better..
    sand just keeps the heat from escapeing too quickly...

    obviously your gonna have to give the diff a good wash before installing it....lol
