Yea the same safety rules as driftjam, minimum half cage, extinguisher, seat, harness

MAybe what joe is saying is to have a series of comps like the one that was run in portlaoise. Like have few different comps in the year for drivers to get points for each have leader board etc. Like goldstone, ballbriggan, m1, old mill if gets goin soon, sounds like a good laugh

Be very boring to watch though. I mean 20 s bodies? Unless you knew who was driving, or if they were all incredibly mental (which then the safety thing comes back into play) there would be little if no spectators. No spectators = very little money for the organisers really, so the venues/tracks wouldnt be great. Impossible to manage the power/mod thing aswell, as too many ways around it, unless you inspect every car in a parc ferme situation, which ramps up the money alot too.

So imo its just not feasible really, and more importantly strange and mad cars are also what makes drifiting interesting over some other motorsports. Limit ppls imaginations and I think the sport would be ruined tbh....

I like the Idea, I always preferred to watch normal cars drifting than some yoke that's bearly even the same car any more. If profit wasn't the main concern I'm sure it could be done cheaply but tbh I can't see it happening in this country. I for one would love to be able to go drifting with out all the safety gear, the way I see it it's my own fault if I crash in a ball of flames upside down, and nobody elses responsibility, it should be up to the individual what safety gear they have. but that attitude only seems acceptable in Asia and not here were others decide what they think is best for you.
