Pirelli lady Georgia Littlejohn ftw!!!!
great pics.
Yes miss Littlejohn is foine!!![]()
Nice write up patrick...whats it like with just been a top 8 comp
Its quite different alright but with all the other stuff going on its quite cool. Crowds were pretty big but the lads informed me it was quite quiet actually. Mini's were some craic to watch and so were "some" of the Time Attack cars.
Drivers seemed to get plenty of runs too. On the Saturday there was an hours practice and then on the Sunday there were was another morning practice, a qualifying session and then the Top 8.
Spectators POV:
From a drift diehards point of view it may not be enough but if you enjoy motorsport in general its a great day out i have to admit.
Driver POV:
A little less driving compared to PD - session are short but with only 8 cars your out alot. Pirelli pays for the tyres and the boat so all you worry about is Accommodation and fuel for the van/jeep (minus prep costs of course). Fans over there are more active and the event ran very well.
Media POV:
I wasnt able to get media access due to Insurance but with the access a great video could be made purely from all the different angles you can get. I'd love to go back to it tbh - maybe not this year as there are only two rounds left and i may have other commitments elsewhere.
