Default which drift car should i go for

    Hi.
well as i said in my intro im looking for a cheap car for drifting.
My budget would be around 500 euro and for that i would want one that would look respectable and not have half the bits missing off of it.
it also must be able to go around not a bother atall with a welded diff

i have picked out two cars on done deal and im wondering would the first one the 523i be too heavy for diffin

or would the 318 be better for diffin as it is lighter? but it doesent have as powerful of an engine but i think it would be worth more in parts for when i come to break

all comments welcome anyway lads what other cars do ye think i should be looking out for?

Your on the wrong site. This is a drifting site. Not a diffin one. You will get a bucket load of abuse here for diffin.

David David David what have you said " diffin is a sin" now go and repent
For 500 euro there ain't such thing as a good first drifter, there is however plenty off tramps that will cost you a small fortune to get out on track before you realise it's boiling over and your day is over, then you watch the lads that saved a few quid more goin balls out all day havin a great time, (no offence to tramps) ya get my hints on what to do ? Credit union FTW

Dont bother with the 318 sohc they are balls of shit unless its wet or snowing. The 523 not much better but a bit. Save a little more and pick up a UK Zenki 14, be much more worth your while. Surely you would get one for about a grand somewhere these day's in good running ortder but might just need a few little bits
