overfuelling problem

Have a 14a lads and today was the first time I got to drive it but it back fires a lot when I change gear and the exhaust is red hot at the back of the car. It would burn ya to touch it. I was thinking its over fuelling or timing is off by a bit but could be wronging just wondering does any one have any ideas on it

It has uprated fuel pump front mount but thats bout it. Its a standard engine apart from that. I took it for nct there this evening after I posted and it failed on high idle on emissions but low idle was ok.

It dont have any exhaust parts??

Why has it an uprated pump and fmic if everything else is stock??

It has a jap speed elbow too but standard exhaust apart from that to try get it through test. There was no fuel pump in it when I got it and it was easier get a walbro than a stock pump.and I plan uprate it more thats why I got the front mount. I had to start some where.
