***UPDATE***
Well went at welding in the new bits of metal over the weekend and smoothing it over, have N/S 90% done just needs bit more sandin and grinding the O/S piece is in thats all i got done, happy enough with the work seen as i havent choped and fabricated much b4 not the cleanest welds i know but its strong and serves its pupose, i also welded the engine bay skin to the plate so its welded both sides of the turret for best strength.

Just a quick update ill have pics tommorow.
have the engine bay finished and primed, also primed the subframe and the arms etc had the gf helping sand the subframe down 2 !!! next thing to do is pick a color for the engine bay and subframe arms etc then throw the engine in an get it running and go from there!!!

well lads fogot the camera for ages so heres a few pics have a bit done mostly to the front end.
Heres the engine bay done and primed happy enough with the way the inner wings turned out.
