well lads finally got the 50mm full wrap around rear quarters for the sil80 happy out, The fit isnt too bad needs a bit of work to be perfect and theres a 6mm gap between the over fender and the window line all the way back to the boot i presume there ment to be like that was contemplating to fiberglass it right up to the window but i mite just leave them as they are now.
Wheels fit grand and i havent any adjustable camber arms in it but im thinking should i camber the wheels more and add a spacer??any ideas??

Heres the pics anyways there only slapped on to get a look so lines and gaps arnt rite at all.

    Orignial arches cut

    New rear quarters

    new quarters against old

    Nearside placed on

    From the back

Rough look from the front with shitty 16" wheels on the back

Arches with the works that are going on it

    Any comments or opinions welcome

Car has to be finished by the end of june and going for paint begining of july as im heading to france with the missis in it come beging of august so want to get a week at the end of july for testing the car as i only brought it for its first spin a few days ago since i started the build last july but everything seemed fine bar the tracking is out front and back which made the spin intresting but it slides no bother and nice pull of it too!!

Spraying it blue not fully decided what blue yet but have the following in mind
    Mazda rx8 metallic winning blue
    Nissan 350z Daytona blue
    Dodge viper blue

want a deep blue nothing light anyway wont look right otherwise imo.

Got a few more parts for the car for my bday from the missis!!

2 12" electric fans. Will be making up a aluminuim shroud to get the best cooling efficency for them.

    Alloy coolant bottle with level.

Magnetic sump plug , resistors for tacho and remote start , Gearbox shifter boot, and a few relays for the fans and foglights.

Hands down i'd paint it this colour Simo :

Honda Civic Supersonic Blue, would look savage with the orange I reckon. Or something nice deep blue / burple :

Whats the storey with the JZX why are you taking it off the road? And what ever happened that Lancer that you had that you were rebuilding?

Well lads did a few bits last nite after getting a few new parts.

Polished the alloy coolant tank as it wasnt as shiney as i wanted it to be.

Wanted to make a shroud for the electric fans too draw all the heat through the fans for better cooling so got a bit of metal i had laying around and started from there.

Cut the shape of the rad into the metal and drilled all the fixing points

I then marked out where i wanted the 2 fans to go

I then cut the holes out using a nibbler which was a handy auld tool

    Gave it a quick polish

I Then fitted the fans to the shroud and the rad.very happy with it with a good fit 2.

Fitted the alloy coolant bottle to the car

Fitted the rad and fans to the car

Just have to wire in the electric fans now and the cooling side of things are finished!!
