Thanks Eddie, a broken throttle position sensor meant no practice Saturday but 'Cousin Tom' and myself blasted down the Wicklow gap and down past Gorey to Eddie Doyle and we got going for Sunday but there was no time to try any setup changes to make it handle better. It just needs lots more side grip, the forward bite is there I reckon.
I had good craic in Miggy the Monster Academy car at half time though!
Please God Dave, can't wait to see it sliding right myself and get comfortable in it and do some coooool shiiiiiiiiiiiiiitI meant those txts I sent you while you were commentating aswell
x x x
Thanks Tom. So what you're saying is the FC made you wet???
Cool pic lad, thanksWas that you lovin right in front of me?
I was on and off with my helmet to keep the last part of my body which wasn't soaked dry, my head!
not sureha ha was there with the girlfriend alright ... but couldn't see shit with the lads in the wheel chair place, and moved just before they got moved on . doh .... got soaked and left early .... good aul day all the same , the Fc is epic , pity C-rexs one met its end , what could have been .... ps dont try on the viennas , you may cry at the awesomeness .
Thanks Jeff, same as that. I'd love to hear it from the outside, it sounds mental inside anyway! It hits this note on the limiter, it does something to your ears, I dunno what it is, you come out of it anyway with your head bursting! That and the smell of race fuel and the fact you cant wind down the lexan windows, and the way it makes power and handles, the whole experience is crazy enough to be perfectly honest ha ha!
Ooooooh you charmerYou just want to get my race suit off...
Thanks Mike, its a credit to the boys, was good to see you on the grid the last day aswell, well done lad.
Thanks James, thats good advice, well it's either that or make a lot of changes before Japfest, I'll see how the budget is, some castor will help dramatically cos its not trying to return itself at all and were having the shocks softened off a lot too so those two things alone will build in a lot of forgiveness into it I reckon. Its pretty fine when you have it hanging out like, its just getting it to there is the problem. We will sort it anyway with a bit of time and testing.
Sound Paul, thanks for the bits too lad. Yeah it looked cool in the garage lol! When it's working properly it should have some presence I'd say.
Be gone with your tempting expensive sweet unreal wheels ha ha! They would prob be my choice in an ideal world! Call over any time lad, sure I'm only over the road!
looks fucking amazing Mike, best of luck with it![]()
Well after following your build Mike, I know it was going to be something special and it certainly is. Cant wait to both see and hear it out on track.
People like yourself and builds like this are what keep pushing drivers and the sport in this country.
Best of luck with it
