help needed please..!!!

well all,i bought a 1.8turbo nissan 200sx,wasnt to sure at first would i buy it as i herd storys from people about them,but for a finish i seen the car,it started fine,drove fine bar a miss in the engine..

I got the car for pennys basically as the fella i new had it needed a few quid.. so i started buy doing a compression test and ruled that out..all wer throwing up 170 or more in all cylinders..then i got a different loo that connects to the injectors as i thought there was a bad earth and still the same..cheked all the coils and swapped them with good ones and still a miss in the 3rd cylinder..

Removed the covers on the head and the budy said ,everything is opening and closing as they should,valves etc.. the 3rd spark plug is getting petrol and theres spark and all..im not sure what to check next folks..cud it b the injectors are leaking or putting out to much petrol,or cud it be bad earth or something.. i dont no muh about nissans as i have had alot of cars bar a nissan so any info would be appreciated.. Have any of you came across any common fault with the that could make them miss like mine is missing?

not been smart now but did u throw in a set of plugs, is the miss there all the time or only at idle or wat??

Well lad,am well i took them out and they looked okay,and da lad i got it off said he put new spark plugs in it b4 i got it..there all sparking aswell lad..
Am when ideling its grand,then when you give it and sort of boot it just sounds like its down a cylinder..the miss never went away..

i had this exact problem last week a miss on cylinder 3 i tried everything few things here you might wanna do

swap that injector with another one or just swap them round could be stuck open
same with yr coilpacks
do a leak test on injectors
o ring might be leaking either
pull yr plug on 3 see if its wet and getting fuel
check your igniter chip heard they can cause it to miss

i rewired all my injectors everything it eventually turned out to be a frail wire on injector 3 you could bareley even notice it, i had checked it with a multi meter an all and seemed ok id strip back the wiring on that and take a good look over it

Well lad,thanks for your reply..glad to here you got yours sorted out,and great i heard from someone with the similar problem... im gonna go true your list next week and check everything of the list..hopefully i have the same problem as your one,and will have it going soon..il will keep you posted on how im getting on,i appreciate the reply..thanks

check is the altenator working alrite lad i had a similar problem and found out that was the problem

does it start missing when it comes on boost?? if so its fuel cut , they start missing around 4-5k if you boosting around .8 to .9

to fix this cut a horsham design stage 1 chip or something along those lines

edit: didnt read your problem correctly so this is all probably of no use

I'd say it's a fueling problem, or coilpack?
