best time to change is when its fairly low in fuel.. another easier tip is just pull off the plugs then try start it to drop the fuel pressure,
and when your screwing the top housing back on again make sure its threading on straight, because it is only plastic and if its cross treaded it wont seal and ul have a mess on your hands.
yep true i ment to mention that about the big black ring and seal. its very easy to put that on on the wrong thread. did it myself but twigged it time before any damage was done few.......... about the pumps postion...... that yolk with the plugs and stuff where the pipes are attached is part of the bracket that hold the pump. its a long enough yolk but the pump is attached to it so when you lift it out the pump comes with it too. easy as
