    The k11 filters have a larger capacity afaik and are more readily available/cheaper

    K11 micra is the proper filter for a s13/ps13 redtop/blacktop non vvt SR20

    S14's S15's are almera/primera afair

    2 different filters for sure

    Not according to Nissan,180sx blacktop and redtop are supposed to use different filters but they are both compatible with each other it's just the k11 one has a larger capacity and I think that is the one specified for the newer blacktop redtop has a smaller filter

    Learn sumthing new every day did'nt think the non vvt redtop/blacktop had different factory filters!

    ive a black top s14.which filter do i need?
    going by what your saying stevo,a almera/permera will do??

    Nissan don't know what they are at to be honest lol I got a look at the Nissan fast program and a few bits and pieces are different between the two engines.

    s14/14 is different to all this k11 malarky.

    What is the filter for a VVT SR20? Are there as many varients as the 180sx non VVT SR engines?

    S14 S14a S15 use a different filter to the older 180sx/ps13 redtop/blacktop so yours is not a k11 micra filter if its the original vvt engine.. simple way to check the engines redtop/blacktop non vvt have straight rocker cover and s14 and s15 vvt are sloped towards the back(bulk head end)

    From memory Blueprint filter part numbers are ps13/180sx non vvt redtop blacktop ADN 12110

    S14/S14A/S15 vvt blacktops silvia and 200sx(s14) are Blueprint part number ADN 12112 which is same as sr20ve primera..

    Ive one in the boot here, I'll go check...

    Correct and right. ADN 12110. I Just stick with the one nissan gimme, for the sake of a pound or two at most.
