hardwireing help please

right my head is fryed from searching and still found nothing
im looking to be put in the right direction for hardwireing a sr20 engine
i would figure bits like the fuel pump and starter but i get confused when it comes to the ecu and altonator,
can anyone put me in the right direction please

ill plug the loom into the ecu but then what,
meant to say its going into an ae86

so basically im plugging my loom to engine, ecu to loom and tapping the ae86 ecu harness to the sr loom ?

Yeap, I'd try getting the starter loom sorted first and get it turning over and spark etc

and if i followed the diagram mac_c gave me i shouldn have much trouble

On the starting loom the black yellow strip is the signal wire, most important ya don't forget it, plug in the ecu and get good clean earthing points for the engine, is it a track or road car?

its for the track, was gona put it on the road but too many legal issues
