Speedwise you'd be looking anywhere from 25 MPH upwards, This speed can be varied depending on the battery pack you decide to use, the gearing you use or the motor in place. TBH though i wouldn't worry too much about the top speed for drift models. Again charge time and battery life depend completely on the capacity of the battery you decide to use.
The Yokomo drift models were the first production drift models and the chassis on which it is based is regularly used for world championship. These models are excellent for drifting comps alright, but i will say some skill and practice is needed too.
