    Question sr20 into sierra

    well lads, was thinking about buying a cheap enough s body for track days something with a bit of power like,but i've a cossie rep sierra there that hasnt been on the road ina while it's just lying there,thinking about putting an sr20 into it instead of buying a car,anyone on here that has done this conversion before? would it be worth all the hassle? Thanks.

    No its not worth the hassle. Keep like with like and just use a ford engine!!

    You'l make a nice drift car outta a sierra with a few handy bob,but nowadays unfortunatly you'l do a nissan as cheap and still have a better car..

    Scarily its true chuck like... dnt worry il never ever do it.. :P

    Check out driftworks there was a lad but one in sierra hatch,s13 rear set up and everything!

    Richard Bradley has just finished one there, im a bit of a ford man myself but drift a skyline (more reliable) think it would be something different and cheaper than puttin a cossy into her

    Yeah as benny said we just did one.. not a hard conversion to do. and an SR20 is twice the engine of the cosworth

    Handily enough done but don't bother.. Sierras have THE worst steering ever when it comes to drfiting and there rear set up aint much better either.. Take the advice of a big Ford head here and run lad seriously.
