    Thanks lads, went around the engine bay back to front, looking for loose earths, split pipes, damaged wires etc found nothing other than what I previously stated. Pure balls, hopefully its just that the ecu lost the map, I'll be speaking with Cathy or Robbe tomorrow so hope to get this thing mapped once and for all, fit new brakes, fpr, boost controller and a few other handy bits...

    id a similar problem last week. tried everything and then changed the fuel pump and changed petrol and it went fine. could be totally off da mark but worth a try if all else fails.

    I've 3 gtr pumps actually, might be worth swapping one out to see...

    If you jumped it off a running car, chances are you have blown the PFC..

    Nope, the battery was already out of the car that I used to jump it...

    PFC should be ok then, aslong as you didnt get the leads the wrong way round, or jump it off a running car, both of which would kill it.

    Nope did neither dude, besides if it was blown surely the engine wouln't fire at all ? No ?

    Dropped the box, release bearing is fine, little ware but nothing major, clutch is fine too, clutch fluid level is spot on and box has oil ????

    spigot bearing worn?? if so it will have caused the box to wear sounds the same as a relese bearing but it the lay shaft bearings in the box

    I had the same problem after a dead battery and jumping my 180 (similar engine setup to what you've described) turned out to be a blown Z32 afm, check the airflow reading on the commander to see does it change as you give it throttle, I'm think it's a 0-5v analogue back to the pfc
