I'd say the Power FC has reset. and needs to go through the self learning phase again. Fucked if I can remember the procedure though.

Yeah.... Not.... Thanks lads for the help, reckon a trip to TDP is on the cards for next week so...
you need a new battery lad or altenator could be gone as for the rattel its the clutch release bearing dont really worrie about it mine dose it the whole time only thing is if its real bad it can score the flywheel so if you really want change it but it should be fine
yea dont go wid jumpin to all conclusions....start at basics as in a good battery if battery is fukeld der may not be enuf voltage for ecu sensors etc and this can bring on light for low voltage faults etc..... jumpers not worth a shite really.....

rdec1701 bang on correct start simple had exact same problem with my m3
thou was jus a misfire new battery cured it. if the brain isnt gettin proper signal
cant fire right . if that doesnt cure it just check basics first ,if ya can get your hands on a fuel pressure gauge cause kinda sounds like its not gettin fuel could be condensation build up in fuel from layin not being used filter change can make surprising difference
Cheers lads, gonna fit a new battery Monday and book her in woth Robbie in TDP asap to finally get her mapped...
ya that will fix the car alrite. y can't you use jumps leads them ?
If your just gonna be a smart arse, why not put it up for rent, bet ya'll make a killing![]()
Jump leads bad idea !
rattle release bearing.
power fc could have lost map and afm setting
alternator with a fucked rectifier will cause the car to run funny cutting out even and lumpy idle and could also barely light the charging light on the dash and even put it out when rev'd up.. I know this cos it happened my 180 last week ..
after that your going to actually have to get the hands dirty and start routin at it..
