SR's in Skylines

starting to see this a lot more lately, people swapping out their RB's for SR's. is there any reason for this bar running costs???

Sr's are lighter and cheaper to tune.

thats not being able to afford an rb imo .
as much as i love sr20's i wouldnt swap a rb20 for one. but at the same time it's an alternative to a blown rb20 if you've a spare sr20 there ..

there was a r33 in mondello on sunday with a sr20 in it, but the car had a 2L non turbo in it to begin so it was prob cheaper to drop a sr into it then getting a rb

What this man says.only sin in changing to an sr is they sound shite in comparison, other than that it's all good!

ya that skyline belongs to a buddy of mine. Sunday was his first day driftin. He was impressed wit it but reckons it need's more power. (but who doesn't think that anyway) its a good enough conversion if u have an engine lying around but wouldn't be my cup of tea otherwise.
