Default Couple of Kenwood JDM headunits and JDM phone/ ipod holder

First up Kenwood Double DIN headunit DPX-500 CD cassette radio. 4x35W Includes wiring harness with 2 in line fuses. 2 pre amp outputs and 13 pin connector allowing mp3/ ipod connection when used with the correct cable (not included). Multi changer compatible DSP and EQ for excellent sound. Perfect working order £55 posted.

Next up is a Kenwood f-CD55 single DIN CD radio headunit. 4x50W DSP and EQ. Aux in, 2 pre amp outputs and 13 pin connector and multi changer control. Single DIN cage included. Perfect working order £40 posted.

Lastly I have a Gradia "luxury collection" dashboard storage pocket suitable for your phone/ ipod or whatever VIPs keep up front. Finished in a grey marble effect it looks the part. Foam lined tray and small side has a sprung front, hinged at the bottom. Has hooks to attach to air vent and a 3M double sided tape for extra security. The small pocket can be swapped from side to side or removed to suit your needs.

Some scratches to the foam in the bottom as can be seen in the third photo but otherwise perfect. £12 posted

Japanese stereos are set to pick up FM frequencies from 76-90 MHz, most of the world ourselves included use 87.5-108MHz.

It is easy and pretty inexpensive to rectify the problem when using a JDM stereo by using a frequency expander such as this:

I'll try to get photos with the power connected later this evening.

    Hope this helps

Update as promised, the single DIN is working fine:

I discovered a fault with the double DIN in the form of the flexible cable between the head unit and the screen. I have ordered the replacement part which is going to take 4 weeks to arrive from Japan. This is a very common fault in head units that have flip out screens and is a pretty simple fix if you can get the right cable.

It'll be back up for sale as soon as it's fixed.

Apologies in the meantime to anyone who was interested.

Head units gone, still have the speaker grills, amp and 3 of the Kenwood ribbon cables. The cables are approx 7 cm long and £5 each posted. Worth a try if your flip down display has stopped working.
