Question on emissions, NCT and changing an exhaust??

I have the Nct on the 180sx on may 20th, now i have an aftermarket exhaust system (apexi) and have no cat in the car. so i know im fucked on emissions.

If i change back to a standard exhaust system will i have to change from the turbo back??

Also should this be enough to get the car through??
the car is mapped also.

I'd just put a cat in if it's post 1993.
You're far better of with the car mapped anyway.

pre 94 cars dont need cats.. as the law came in for them in january 1st 94 you should be grand

My 180 is a 93 went trough NCT no bother all you need is silencer to meat the regulation for noise emissions, straight trough exhaust is fine

Is it pre 1993 or 1994 that have the higher emissions allowance

Just get a silencer.
