The answer is NO for 2 reasons. There is no such thing as a RB20 GTR I assume you mean a R32 GTR. The GTR has a full size front mount cooler where as a GTST has a small side mount.

but if i get a uprated front mount intercooler for the gtst is the pipework the same as a gtr interccoler

No. The GTR cooler has swept ends.
