    hi all my 180sx it throwing oil frm the rocker cover breader down into the air stream and into the turbo..

    any 1 ever come cross it b4

    yep when it happend me it was piston rings fu*k'd,, and have cn this prob wid a few mates cars and was piston rings

    defo ur piston rings man!!!

    This normal to a small extent, hence the use of oil catch cans but if it is severe its likley to be caused by excess crank case pressure. This could be caused by overfilled oil in the best case or as said above worn rings or a leaking head gasket.
    However is the rings were worn that badly the car would be hard to start due to the low compression on whichever cylinder has the issue.


    Do a compression check and a sniff test to check rings and gasket.

    did a compression test all good, car starts and drives perfect no miss fire r nything,

    was thinkng turbo oil seals,, i have the rocker cover breader off at the moment and still throwing oil into the intercooler

    Well if its not coming from the rocker then ots got to be the turbo seals....
