just common sense to keep an eye on fluid levels at all times, i do it at least once a week.

but best of luck with the car, its savage!

    Shit look man.

''It took me four hours rather than a normal two hour journey to get home cause I took it so easy on it!''

But honestly ?? It took you twice the time ? Doubt it.

''Brought it to my mechanic the following morning, checked everything and there wasn't a tint of water in the car. It had ran out of water and on further inspection fucked the head, the bottom, the lot!''

Did you drive it to your mechanic ? If there was no water in it, you would have smelt it and surely wouldn't drive it. Its basic car maintenance to check a car for oil/water etc... especially on a new purchase,
    Do NOT rely on gauges.

Also to fuck the bottom end it must have had some roasting ?

It was only rebuild 4k ago and run in properly, they don't just randomly pack in when there looked after.

Anyway, shit look about the car.

Ah lad, you said you drove it home taking you 4 hours, if there was no water in it you wouldn't make it 20mins without steam or a bad smell.

I think you need a new mechanic.
