i had a sierra since i was 14 and when i started competing in pd last year i had to buy my s13 cause she just didnt hav the power...i had it for 2 years and loved it...but it had a cage and even though there wasnt a spot of rust the cage eventually push through the floorpan behind the drivers seat so if your gonna cage her make sure the floor is reinforced...also mine was the 2litre twincam on carbs but you still really had to dog her to move her but as a daily theyd be a nice car just keep that stuff in mind

iv had around 20 sierras and still have 4 but in my opinion unless your some wat mechanically minded sierras will leave you stuck, they alws need some attention. great cheap fun tho, but now a days driving a sierra with a welded diff for a road car will just get taken off ya 1st time you get pulled in as every garda in the country knos wat there for lol... good luck with your hunt for a good one

Owned over 75 sierras over the years, and drifted 1 in the UDC for along time.
Do not buy anything less than a 2.0 twincam efi. Not that powerfull but will do what you want for a while. Welded diffs on a road car arent worth the hassle LSD's arent that dear. Im in the middle of building another 24v cossie trackcar for driftin. Should have abit of a project build up shortly..
