Some1 with really good knowledge on Power FC's

I put a new throttle body on my rx and used the TPS and intake temp sensor of my old one which were both working fine before dis-assemby.
Now I have put it back together and the power fc under the sensor/sw check screen is reading that there is a fault with the TPS - there is a black line through the readings - which as far as I know idicates a fault, but then engine warning light isnt lighting up which also is suppose to happen when there is a fault with the TPS as far as I know. Also the throttle isnt responding when you pull the throttle it doesnt rev up.
I have been searching on google but cant seem to find info on it.
Does anybody know why it is not working now and it was before I took it apart, I don't understand how there can be something wrong with it when it was in perfect working order

firstly, what type of tps is it? switch type (which shows only idle position and WOT position) or variable resistor (shows throttle position as a percentage)

check your sensor again with a multimeter, just because it was working before doesnt mean its still working :/

wiring, power, earth and signal. if its a variable resistor type, with ign on and engine off you should see battery voltage at your power wire and usually somewhere around .3 and .5 volts at your sensor wire with the throttle shut, this voltage figure does however depend on what sensor calibration the ecu requires..

if you have your power, earth and signal at the sensor, check at the ecu and check your wires for continuity..

Its variable resistor type as far as I know, i'll give all that a shot and and see does it work - cheers!
