Team WKD
let the engine go STONE cold.
start her up and stick your right hand in round the mani ( no need to touch it, just get close) and give her a wee rev with the left... you'll know if its blowing then. repeat procedure around the turbo to mani just to be sure.
also check and see if any studs are loose, mine used to be a dickhead for doin that when i was usin the stainless mani finally if it is that gasket make sure the mani isnt warped before you order a new gasket.
if it is it'll need skimmed and depending on the type of mani it can be a bit pricey. happened to mine and it worked out alot cheaper to just stick a cast one back on, power loss was negligible, i certainly didnt notice much anyway.
horsram dev have gaskets in stock for stainless manifolds and pretty quick delivery any time ive used them..
hope this helps![]()
Did you price the states for gaskets?what prices are you getting here?
havin had a chance to price yet, been given the car a look over to check for any other lil things that need doing mechanically..
i tightened all mani to head bolts, mani to turbo bolts and turbo to down pipe bolts and it still blowin so i thinkin it could be the patched up mani
mockin is catchin my good man![]()
