    Default SR20 Coolant Problem

Right I’m a bit stumped by something. Sorry if this seems like a stupid questions just I’m in no way mechanically minded and searching seems to have me going round in circles
My car seemed to have a good bit of water vapour coming out of the exhaust a few weeks ago when it was a bit cooler, it’d go away when the car was up to full temp. Now I checked my coolant and the level was fine at the time, had the car in for a service around the same time and they found no gunk or anything in the oil.

Now was doing the weekly oil check today and just decided to check the coolant. Opened it up and couldn’t see any of the liquid in there so topped it up with some water (took bout 1ltr). I had a Google round and everything suggests it’s the head gasket or a leak. Jacked the car up and had a look underneath for drips and there was nothing looked around all the hoses and round the water pump too and was all clear. Dipped the oil again and opened up the filler cap to see was there any gunk and nothing as well. Now it has blown a lil water vapour but not a lot since the weathers picked up and again goes at full temp.

All this has me f*cking stumped.
    1. Could there be another problem I don’t know of?
    2. Could it be one of the two like it being a really slow leak or the head gasket with just no gunk?
    3. I have a few exhaust bits/gaskets to order and be put on, should i just save up the extra money and get a new headgasket when ordering the others to be on the safe side?
    4. If I am getting a new head gasket will a Nissan OEM one be ok or should I go with a 1.1mm metal one? (I’m hoping to change the turbo and run 1.2/3 bar by the end of the summer)?

    Any suggestions?
