just wondering if apec pads (and other standard brand pads) are good enough to lock when needed using the hydro .

Mine locks up perfect using cheapo pads from the motor factors.
I've ceramic on the back at the moment and lock up grand. Lads recommend yellow stuff
whatever floats the boat, good yank of a hydro and it will lock anyway
sorry for jumping in but i have a hydro yellow stuff pads drilled and grooved discs and i have to stand on the pedal brake to build pressure before it will lock is dis normal or is der any way of just pulling the hydro for instant lock. would i need a bigger master cylinder mines .625?
U need to bleed it out there is still air in it once they are done proper u dont need to go near the pedal i have mine on standard pads and grooved discs and its perfect but pads dont last long
