Prodrift round 1 afterthoughts

First time doin pro drift and i gotta be honest ennis chewed me up and spat me out...lol
thanks to chris brady for beating my boot straight after a wee incident with the wall and WKD for the sledge...twas an education....lol
the skill level out there on saturday was 2nd to none some amazing entries into that first corner...

and the bit of messin trying to get the white clippng box thingy off the front of the blue M3 Compact.....pure comedy....it jut wouldnt let go of that car...lol

i gotta say the north wasn't let down anyway, congrats to Rob Barnett for the win and Dwain Mc Keever for taking 3rd on saturday.

Moment of the weekend was way off the track, when dropping Kruizer back to Limerick, as there was no room In Chuckys Van he bailed in the back amongst all the tyres, on the way Chucky was getting kinda lost, so we were shouting back at Brendan to ask for Directions. Now he couldnt really hear us, and we couldnt really hear him as he was in the back of the van, next thing I know, Kruizers head pops in my passanger window with the correct directions!! Holy Shit, 60mph and heres mental man hangin out the sliding door to give us directions! Needless to say, my drink came out me nose and onto the inside of the windscreen!

The drifting wasnt bad either!!! Lol

oh dear lord, what a weekend a great kick start to the season...

haha saturday night was hilarious, great bunch a lads to go out with, Ste i did not peck your misses on the cheek... hahha we had some giggles indeed..

some seeerious driving on the saturday and sunday everyone looked to be flying... pitty Willis car was giving him troubles, ah well!!

Not great lad, made top 32 but was eliminated by Brian Cotter after a one more time. Made many silly mistakes but i shud improve in round 2

Was there both days and the standard of drifting was class. As the lads in the commentary box said, after the first twin battle you could have gone home and still been satisfied! Top 8 and Top 4 on sunday was some of the best drifting I've seen in PD over the last 2 years anyway.

I was one of the 20 or so lads in a high-vis taking pics, so I've about 18 gigs worth of photos from the weekend....As I've exams over the next few weeks it'll take a while to get them uploaded, but there shall be photos from me!
