    Default Log book ?

    Ok story is i need a log book for my car its not in my name cause was going use it for parts , now want put it back on the road Does anyone know how to get a log book for a car ?

    Your gonna have to go into the tax office and tell them your situation....! Then they'l make you go and swear upon an oath that u bought the car.....! Seen this happen before....!

    Your going to have fun I might have to go the same route you will need to ring the tax office get tell them you bought the car but haven't recieved the book they will send you out a form to fill in you'll have to take it to a garage to get the chassis checked and get the book stamped then you have to take the book to your local Garda commissioner and get him to sign it then send back the form and wait for a reply

    You need 4 forms filled out (you can get them from Garda station - RF200, RF134, Statutory Declaration, and Garage Cert Details form)
    Then get them stamped by a garage, the guards and also a peace commissioner signature and then send it off the Shannon and VOILA: you get a new book in about 2 wks

    exacto,,,,,i had to do this myself a few weeks ago

    X3? done this a few times never a problem....... Soliciter's can act as peace commissioner........

    Last owner miss placed it car was sitting up few years then they moved house etc , cheers for replys .
