    Default whine in r32 clutch/gearbox

    right lads when i got my r32 the box was grinding, no whine, changed it for a different box, was perfect after a few weeks started whining, thaught release bearing as when clutch pressed it goes away, changed released bearing, still there , so i thaut it must b the input shaft bearing in box, got another box and its still bloody whining!? what else could it be? has an exeedy paddle clutch in it too. anybody got any idears??!

    bit of a long shot but is the clutch slipping against the flywheel??

    My R32 has a exeddy 3puc clutch & it whines all the time...

    Its normal i think, dosnt bother me, also mine go's away when you depress the clutch aswell! Just get a louder exhaust according to wez, dont need to know all the noises :P

    well thats what i was thinking as it never realy got louder or worse!? clutch is solid as, savage bite but a bit hard, it bent me feckin clutch fork!? think yer right an just turn up the radio!

    Mines harder than the brake pedal just about!! its savage hard, but sure why would we be holding it down for long?

    45 mins in traffic every morn with it sound dude ill just stay drivin it! an just turn the radio up!

    Does it have a pilot bearing in the centre of the flywheel? Might be that if it does?
