    Default s15 project (mangled)

    wish me luck. theres a a fair amount of work need the hole front will be rebuilt. twill be slow but i was looking for a new project for ages







    pulled the car apart 2day ready to chop the front of just havnt got the pics up yet will 2moro

    ah right cool i just siad id say it to you you are best off not to cut off any of the damaged pannels yet, its the bast to leave them as is so he can pull it back roughly with them intact

    does it mater?its goin on2 the track gna use fiberglass panels in the end id say and im a welder il just see if the leg will pul straight if not ill just chop it back on both sides and make up my own front

    we straightened her a small bit yesturday but still a good bit to go

    like gem said don't cut anyting off till after its been jigged!!!! if you go choping b4 its jigged it will be far 2 hard to get it anyway straght!!! and you deffo need to ave the shell jigged!!!

    cheers man. is it a big job 2 have it jigged?Iv a lad here 2 do it just never had it done befor

    plans are

    cage,
    rebuilt front end,
    seem weld shell,
    full adjustable arm setup,
    hydro,
    fuel cell,

    there the main things for now.


    then engine wise i was thinkn rb25 i had 1jz on my mine but thers alot more work in the 1jz.also was thinkn my redtop witch has a nice spec 2 and would have more pull than a standerd rb25.

    its not easy to jig a car but its the only way to have the car right!!! its the one ting you can skimp on!!!!
