right lads there is a few of ye interested just bumping this to see who else is interested and sumone pm'd me askin me to drain oil into clean containor and run a clean magnet through it to see if it picked up any small metal bits and i done that and its perfect not a bit in the containor

Bearing materials are non magnetic. If there is magnetic bits your fucked as it's off the crank.

and there was no magnetic bits and over next few days it will be on engine stand with sump off so all will be known then
