You might also want to get the flywheel skimmed if ya gave it a proper roasting and/or is scored. Might save ya a bit of hassle

Havent updated this in a while as its been quiet enough as i was away in oz on hols.

as of the last practise day the carbonetic clutch in the car had shat itself slipping even in 2nd gear in the wet. So i contacted dave in Japanese performance and he hooked me up with a exedy stage 2 paddle clutch kit.

i decided to try do the clutch myself as its the only way ill learn and when i removed box i was delighted to see the car had a exedy lightened flywheel which was badly scored so got that skimmed so got that done and put everything back together

before i went away i got a extra long handbrake handle and s13 front grill off bart. when i fitted handle it was too long so cut the top off it and slid on a rubber grip that i got in a bicycle shop and i also sprayed and fitted grill

before i went to oz i also sold my homemade car transporter as it was too small and had no breaks so as part of the deal i got these gauges, worked out well for me i think

so 10 days ago i made my best purchase to date and something i recommend anyone lookin a trailer to get a Brian James A-Max, this makes things so so so easy its deck 16ft long 6ft 6 wide and has a winch and 8ft ramps, the drift car drives up without removing any of the kit

so that brings us to sunday in mondello,i hadnt been out since oct so was nervous enough and hadnt the best week prep'n the car as i broke the oil filter mount on thurs night but YOWDY got one to dublin to me free of charge so big thanks to him. i fitted that and was all systems go

got to mondello and after a few spins i got bit more comfortable in the car and pushed more and more and got my 1st proper entry into honda i was buzzing , till i ran outa talent and did this on turn 2(note to self, never get too confident in your ability)

ended up breaking front wing, sidelight, headlight, skirt rear bumper and rear glass..it was a hard enough impact but once me and passenger were ok thats the main thing...

i went into pits too off loose panels and hit the track again and ended up gettin a few 140kph entries with was amazing the adrenelin is unreal even with the car runnin like a bag of shite think my boost controller is fucked

so with the weekend over i began gathering the bits needed to get car back to normal, Bobby Daly is hooking me up with a rear window and got my spray and filler etc

i removed rear 1/4 today and seen how much of a hard life this cars had

and with the use of timber. metal bars, hammer and a sizzors jack myself and the gf's brother got the damage back out a bit

heres the best we could do gettin the line of the quarter to door right

so this now leaves me to repair all the kit and paint her back up, should not be fun

heres a pic taken by adam oc i was never fond of the matt look but i love it in this pic. i am also gettin a nismo vent and just cuttin the recess for vent and rivet'n vent on to keep it aggressive lookin

    will keep this updated
