    Default NoelB's 180sx Project

Well after 3months of dossing around I said I better stick up a thread. First of all a big thanks ta creepy for all the help he gave with the car and the other mates too who aint on the site.

Put the car away in teh shed after a long search for a runabout. This is how it was the day I put it away

After a while shoveling snow we finally got the car in

First thing we started into was stripping the interior so out with the old and in with the new

Had picked up a red recaro and a type x seat at right money. Only problem was the recaro was on a s-body passenger rail but after a while fabricating and bateing it went in a virgin fit (only after this I realised what a passo recaro rail was worth ha)

Notice aswell the whole interior stripped. Had this sent off to be flocked. Will have pics up soon

Had picked up a few performance parts since November because am aiming to get it mapped so heres what I got
    Turbo elbow

    Downpipe

    GTR fuel pump

Oil filter relocation and oil cooler

    Blitz dual sbc boost controller

Also picked up a z32 with a sard air filter. This wont be going on till the car is being mapped

Had also got a manifold (also japspeed) but never took a pic. Its been on a few weeks so excuse how burnt it is haha

Mani and elbow, may also be able ta make out the downpipe

Wired up the boost gauge. While doing so found a large crack in an actuator pipe so that was causing major power loss. So with boost controller set up at .8 bar on high theres a mental difference!!

Heres just a pic of the engine bay as it stands. Not overly impressive or tidy but twill do till funds allow for a clean up

Got all my interior back so time for that ta be put back in. So basically dash, door cards and centre console were flocked with a little bit of carbon fibre wraping too. Have more ta get hydrofoiled soon enough. Was an awful pain in the arse trying ta get the dash back in

Got a pod made up for my gauges aswell

Was always toying with the idea of changing the colour of the wheels so decided ta pull a bit of paint of and see what was underneath

Its actually a nice polished surface so gonna get them done soon

Next I sent the car off ta get the roof sprayed black. Car is now kinda sittin like a reveresd cam ha

    Just a few randoms then
