I've a factory made car transporter with proper brakes (ie you can reverse with it wihout locking the mechanism). It can accomodate s14 on std wheels but also e34 BMW (had 535i on it few times) or even Merc 123 series. It's low enough too.

Torsion bar suspension
Proper brakes
2 brand new tyres
2 other tyres ok
spare wheels
few belts etc.

Worth to note that it's illegal to tow such a trailer if it doesn't have proper brakes. Old style bradley hitch that needs to be locked manually is not good.

Paid 1200 and there was no ramps on it now 1000 (or make me an offer) with heavy duty ramps and belts. I've also done proper hooks (for belts) since the photo below was taken.

If you're concerned with the width it can be widened enough, there is about 10 cm on each side to play with

It's straight and very easy to tow.
