    It was safe enough putting 8mm worth of washers each side of the rack in Petes R32 but the likes of that is grand for the events that car will be doing!

    If you want extra-lock the 'right way' you need both wheels turning as much as possible, thats what the extra-lock hubs are all about! Search 'ackerman angle' and it will explain how the inside wheel turns more so than the trailing wheel, you need maximum lock with both wheels to achieve bigger angles and faster drift speeds!

    If the trailing wheel doesnt turn in as much as the leading wheel it will cause a drag and therefore slow the car down while drifting and reduce your potential drift angle!
