Nice build! Looks like a good shell to start off with too.

You using a 3.91 cwp in the Evo diff or going to put on a 328/3L rear subframe and diff on it?

Don't bother, its not too bad to do but with buying the few bits and pieces and taking it apart its cheaper and easier to just use a 5 speed ZF box from a 328 or 3L.
Even after converting the Evo box to manual, it may still shit itself after a few outings as they are pretty soft to be fair to them.

E46 M3 SMG box would be worth converting alright if you really needed the 6th gear for some reason.

You'll sell the SMG box (if its good) for more than you'll pick up a 5 speed and bits needed to fit it too.

Nice build man looking forward to this as Bms seem to create nice bit of stir in drifting scene and the v6 stainless noise WIN!!!

i was going to use the evo rear end but had a look at the bushes and they dont look too hot so if the rear needs removed i will fit a m3 rear end and a 4.44 diff.
i have been told that by a few people now so will ring round and get prices today!thanks for the help!

time for an update!was in america for few months so not much progress on the car.

this is the ways she is sitting atm

    arches marked to be cut

    after cutting

need to weld a metal arch in slightly wider than the one in pic

    made bracket to mount handbrake

    made seat rails

got a pair of 6 point 3" harnesses

this is the stage i am at atm.
still waiting on the ACT clutch
need to lift the manual conversion bits and the rear subframe
got the pipework for the cage so will be a busy few weeks
