Default My cam engine not running right....

Had this up on ae86irl dont know if there be any interest here.
Iv decided to sell the cam, i havent got the money to get it sorted, if it doesnt sell il hang onto it till i have the money, but i hate seeing it sitting up.

The engine thats in it was rebuilt by a lad on ae86irl but when i put it in it wont run right at all for me, very smokey an wont idle right. I have no money to get it sorted but plenty of work gone into the engine....

    new rings
    trd 0.8 steel gasket
    new oil pump
    new valve stem oil seals
    new crank seals
    new cam shaft seals
    new waterpump
    new crank bearings
    new con rod bearings
    arp head bolts
    re seat the valves
    port and polish the head

The shell is very clean , no rust underneath. But the wings are a bit dull because i didnt have money to pay to get them sprayed properly so one of the lads done them, they could come up with a buff tho.

    Spec
    Full vertex kit
    Coilovers in the front
    Adjustable topmounts
    Lowering springs in the back
    TRD 2 way diff
    15mm spacers up front
    25mm spacers in the rear
7jj longchamps centres painted gold good tires
Full jap exhaust system and manifold
    Exeedy clutch
    TRD leads
    Front and rear stut braces
    Induction kit
    Oil catch can
    Trash Racing seat
    Deep dish steering wheel
    Sparco harness
    Full cage
    Sound proofing removed

Im asking for 3500 ono and il throw in my old engine with the rings gone and whatever other cam bits i have lyin around.

I only have these 2 pics dont mind the superlite on the front and the rear bumper is at one of the lads garages will have it back tomoro and will get more pics up

    Thanks for looking

very smokey..... how long have you had it running after the engine was fitted? could it just be the exhaust is laced with oil from the last engine that blew a ring? or the new valve stems not seated properly...

when you fitted the engine did you set the dizzy by crossing the poles on the dignostic plug? T to E1(as far as i remember) you can`t set the ignition timeing properly if you don`t cross them. Hope that sheds some light on it for you. Lovely looking booter and nice price for all that goes with her aswell.
