    Default Cost of drifting

Just wondering how much do people here spend when drifting?Im only talking about the likes of portlaoise and mondello and practice days not actually competing in prodrift.

also do many people drive yer "trampers" to the track or do ye trailer them there?

Id like to get into it myseft but just wanna no the costs.

    Thanks

It's a pretty expensive hobby to say the least
Depends how much you want to do it
There's always parts you'll need, mods you want to do etc. etc..

Not too many lads drive to the tracks cause if you have a crash you'll need to get a recovery truck or something, best off rent a trailor for the day

You'd wanna allow €400ish for a day in mondello petrol, track day cost, tyres, trailor hire, food and the rest

    btw
    worth every last cent

You calculate ONLY 1 day expenses which is wrong ...

Take it from the start, purchasing the car, upgrades ets and in 2 year basis, how much costs you every competition day ?

He didnt ask to buy a car upgrade it, He already has a 180, he asked about entrance fees, tyres, petrol, transport cost etc, so id say prodrifter is right in what he is saying.

Ur looking at around 2-500 per Round of PD anyway, just to give you an idea.

Practice day would cost 150-300 depending where u go.

Saying that, if u buy bulk in part worn Tyres, use a stanardish s-body u can save urself alot. Its when u get more serious the money runs away.

That said, its defo the best waste of money ive come across, beats pissing it away after a night out.
