Just copied and pasted an older thread of mine on torque-irl.

Well I tough id get this rolling,

Got my barge back in December 2008 as a swap for my honda accord,

first thing first was to get it checked over, went to tdp with it and he set it up correct as it was running lean (too much air, think thats lean )

it made 288@ the fly

two weeks later i checked the oil and to my horror i had a burner! compression test is to be done shortly

It looked like this



or so i tought,

turned out the last owner left the bonnet pins up and when i went to see it the bonnet was wavier than walkers crinkle cut,

and i had some smelly ass tenzo's with no tyres on them so they had to be got rid of aswell,

galla_4 was selling some fairly tasty ultralite battle's so i threw them on



then my cf boonet and it now looks like this





Today im off to pick up a Bride Driver Seat, Recaro Passenger Seat and a Japspeed FMIC

fmic will be fitted tomorow,

Spec so far is

Zeal coilovers
Ultralite battles
Rear upper strut
cusco 2-way diff
cf bonnet
catback (unknown make)

Could someone tell me the front bumper and spoiler make too?

its off to the body shop tomorow, will get a good going over and it gives me a chance to have ot minty fresh for modified live, gonna try get a full respray outta him

- Any Other Niggly bits that are needed to bring it together


How much of a dent I make in that list is very questionable but Im gonna make a good bash at it, got the oul 21'st coming up so tat should help me acquire a few spondoolies to make it viable!

havent updated this in a while, well wage cuts and the proceeds of my 21st going on party booze for my 21st meant ive done fook all to the car.





For xmas i got 4 new tyres, Goodyear Eagle f1's



and



a pair of 3g discs and mintex pads for the front





Over time my front bumper got the odd tip and scrape here and there so i decided to get rid of the cable ties for modball and i rehung my bumper, to my dismay when i took it off i found the front mount brackets had come lose and the only thing holding up the FMIC was the bumper and the pipes iin each end! so made up some new brackets and fixed the bonnet catch bracket, cut the bumper and remounted it and now the front is nice and tidyish again (pics tomorow after a wash)



two weeks ago i decided to fix my leaky p/s rear light seal, took out the light, re sealed it popped it back in, jobs a good un



but



water in the boot for so long meant a bit of surface rust















so i sanded it off and ground it down and in a rush to get done before it got dark so i didnt get midway pics!



but here's the afters, im no da vinci with paint but it done the job











Marty Moore is coming up tomorow to valet the car so ill have some pics of its current condition



I also bought an iPhone so many more pics will come of the tidying up i plan to do over the next week
